Maurice, who is intellectually disabled, is enthusiastically preparing for his brother’s wedding, which promises to be an elaborate affair. The family, however, dreads Maurice’s unpredictable behavior, which threatens to spoil the event.
Sharon Amrani (b. 1970) graduated from JSFS as one of the promising filmmakers of Israeli film. His post-graduation works include Farewell My Cousin (2001) and the TV drama MeoravYerushalmi, which won an Israeli Television Academy Award (2004). On September 10, 2001, Amrani died prematurely as he drowned at a Tel Aviv beach. On the 20th anniversary of the JSFS, the School released a memorial DVD collection of his films and scripts.
