It’s a hot summer day. Marziano, a farmer, accompanied by his Romanian worker, is driving his chickens to the market when he is stopped at a Palestinian roadblock. In his attempts to pass through, Marziano is forced to confront the commander in charge, Nabil, a former employee at Marziano’s poultry operation.
Sigalit Lipshitz (b. 1970) is a prolific Israeli filmmaker in the realm of shorts, and a script editor. She served as chief script editor at YES network and script editor on the television series New York (2013). Her 2019 short film, Curl, was nominated for an Israeli Academy Award. Her short Rebezen is part of the School's tribute project Voice Over (MoMA 2020). Lipshitz teaches at JSFS
