It’s the night of the Jewish settlers’ Purim holiday party in Hebron. Fifteen year old Sahmer insists on taking his older sister, Ayat, to pick up her diploma from the Palestinian university. Walking on the rooftops and down narrow allies, they must avoid the settlers and the Israeli soldiers.
Yaelle Kayam (b. 1979) is known for her debut feature Mountain (2015), which screened at the Venice International Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival. Kayam is a feminist political activist and teaches at Sapir Academic College.
