SYNOPSIS
A film about occupation and creation; a story deconstructing reality, imagining alternative realityof a different Middle East where the Palestinian army is the occupier, and Palestinian film directors make successful leftist action films to process the trauma they experienced while serving in the army.
DIRECTOR'S BIO
Born in 1987, Jerusalem. Author, director, and screenwriter Yair Agmon has written and published three works of fiction and two nonfiction, all to rave reviews. His student short films have been screened at numerous festivals, and were nominated for Ophir [Israeli Academy] Awards. Agmon’s first feature-length documentary, Rachel Agmon, was screened in the 2017 Jerusalem Film Festival Official Competition. His documentary web series, The Hitchhikers, had two successful seasons and was nominated for the Israeli Television Academy Awards in 2019. Agmon teaches at JSFS.
