Zohara is an Israeli soldier on an isolated military base who is about to get a much-anticipated transfer, but her hopes are shattered when her replacement appears to be suicidal.
Talya Lavie (b. 1978) is a leading Israeli filmmaker. Her debut feature Zero Motivation premiered at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival and won the Best Film Award and the best femme-centric Nora Ephron Prize. Zero Motivation was released in Israel in 2014 and broke the box-office records, in addition to winning 6 Israeli Academy Awards. Lavie’s second feature Honeymood will be released in 2020. Lavie teaches at JSFS.
