SYNOPSIS
Sometimes, even the most unassuming of days takes a surprising turn, as a middle-aged suburban bachelor discovers when he goes to buy milk in a Jerusalem neighborhood on the eve of the holy Sabbath.
DIRECTOR'S BIO
Elad Keidan (b. 1979) was the first Sam Spiegel student to win a major prize at the Cannes Film Festival, when Anthem won the 2008 Cinefondation First Prize. His debut feature, Afterthought, had its world premiere at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival’s Official Selection program. Afterthought won first prize at the Haifa International Film Festival as well as three Israeli Academy Awards. Keidan teaches at JSFS.
