SYNOPSIS
A Palestinian child in the Old City of Jerusalem finds a red toy, but then misplaces it. The film follows the toy through the city's back alleys as it changes hands between those in power and those without, all under the watchful eyes of the Israeli police surveillance cameras.
DIRECTOR'S BIO
Dani Rosenberg (b. 1979) is a film and television director, whose work includes the TV series Milk and Honey (2018); the documentary Zohar: The Return which was nominated for the Israeli Academy Award (2018); and the TV series Queens (2019). His debut feature The Death of Cinema and My Father Too is in competition at Cannes 2020. Rosenberg is a teacher at JSFS.
